Scent Machines & Distribution

Froggy's Fog scent distribution systems fill a room with scent on their own, with no fog machine needed. Scare attractions, escape rooms, shops, hotels, offices and homes use them to set a mood or make a scene more believable. Both systems are battery powered, work with the Froggy's Fog scent range, and leave our UK warehouse the same or next working day.

Which scent machine do I need?

  • Rooms up to 250 sq ft (about 23 m²): Scent Distribution System, 250 sq ft, a wall-mountable box that runs for 45 to 60 days on one D-cell battery and one scent cup, with no daily or weekly upkeep.

  • Rooms up to 500 sq ft (about 46 m²): Scent Distribution System, 500 sq ft, battery powered and scheduled from the free AromaSmart app on your phone or tablet over Bluetooth, with 7 days of programming and 3 timed scenes a day.

Refills and scents

The 250 sq ft box uses Scent Cup Replacements, each giving 45+ days of constant scent. The 500 sq ft system uses Oil Based Scent Refills: one 4 fl oz bottle refills the machine. Scent cups come in nearly 60 scents, from Vanilla, Coffee and Ocean to Haunted House, Rotting Decay and Swampy Marsh. See the full range on our Scents page.

Where to use them

Scare attractions and escape rooms give each room its own smell, from Mildew to Charred Corpse. Shops, hotels and offices use pleasant scents such as Vanilla, Cinnamon or Pine Tree to set a mood, and fire and rescue trainers use smoke and fuel scents to make training buildings more realistic.

Scent machine or scent additive?

A scent machine scents a room continuously on its own. If you're already running fog, haze, snow or bubbles, a Water Based Scent Additive puts the smell into the effect itself, and Scented Scene Sprays add scent to props, costumes and actors.

How do I control the 500 sq ft system?

With the free AromaSmart app for iOS and Android, which connects over Bluetooth. You can programme 7 days ahead with 3 timed scenes a day.

Do scent machines need a power socket?

No. Both machines are battery powered, so you can put them anywhere, including places with no mains power.

Can I change the scent?

Yes. Swap in a different scent cup or refill whenever you want a new smell.
