Haze Machines

Froggy's Fog UK stocks haze machines for stages, clubs, theatres and live events. A haze machine fills the air with a fine, even veil that makes lighting beams, lasers and projections visible without the thick clouds of a fog machine. Our range runs from 800 W hazers for mobile DJs to flight-cased stage hazers and 1400 W touring faze machines, and stock orders leave our UK warehouse the same or next working day.

Which haze machine do I need?

  • Mobile DJs, bands and small venues: Equinox Vapour 1000 (800 W, about 5,000 cu ft of haze a minute, DMX, 1.2 litre tank) or the Haze Machine 800W HZ-800 (about 12,000 cu ft a minute, wired and wireless remotes, 2-channel DMX).

  • Theatres, concerts and larger stages: Elumen8 SH-1200 (1200 W, about 12,000 cu ft a minute, 4 litre tank, 1-minute warm-up, flight case) or the Haze Generator 1000W HAZYR-PRO (flight-cased, 30 to 40 second warm-up, DMX or auto-timer).

  • Touring and fixed installs: ADJ Entourage (1400 W DMX faze machine in a touring flight case, 45-second warm-up, up to 420 m³ a minute) or ADJ Entour Venue (the same 1400 W output, built for installs or mobile use).

Pair your hazer with the right fluid

Run our haze machines on water-based haze fluid. Pro Haze Fluid gives an even, odourless haze in any water-based hazer, Beam Splitter is a premium fluid for most water-based haze machines, and K-RAZY Haze is a high-output, long-lasting premium haze. Our Fluid Finder shows which fluids suit your machine, and every fluid is on our Smoke & Fog Fluid page.

Haze or fog?

A fog machine makes thick clouds that fill a space quickly. A haze machine makes a thin, even haze that hangs for much longer and shows up light beams without hiding the stage. Faze machines like the ADJ Entourage make a haze-like effect fast and in large volumes. For thick clouds and blasts, see our Smoke Machines page.

Using a haze machine safely

Haze can set off optical smoke detectors, so check with your venue before use. Use only water-based haze fluid, don't let the tank run dry while the machine is on, and let the machine cool before moving it. A safety data sheet for every Froggy's Fog fluid is on our Chemical Safety page.

UK delivery

Machines in stock are dispatched from our UK warehouse the same or next working day, so there's no waiting on imports or customs. All machines are covered by your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Haze machine FAQs

What does a haze machine do?

It turns water-based haze fluid into a fine mist that hangs in the air, so lighting beams, lasers and projections become visible across the whole room.

How long does a haze machine take to warm up?

It depends on the machine: the HAZYR-PRO is ready in 30 to 40 seconds, the Entourage and Entour Venue in about 45 seconds, the SH-1200 in about a minute, the Vapour 1000 in about 2 minutes and the HZ-800 in 3 to 5 minutes.

Can I use fog fluid in a haze machine?

Use a haze fluid made for water-based hazers, such as Pro Haze Fluid or Beam Splitter, for the finest, longest-lasting haze.

Will a haze machine set off smoke alarms?

It can trigger optical smoke detectors, so check with your venue before use and follow its procedures for isolating detectors.

Can I control a haze machine with DMX?

Yes. Every haze machine in our range has DMX, and most also have a built-in timer or a remote.
